The Moonlight Corset is the perfect statement piece that you can completely customise to make your own. With a curved front hem detailing and a corset style, lace-up back, this pattern is a fun challenge for a confident beginner. The garment is fully lined, and requires fusible interfacing for the main fabric if your fabric is lightweight. There is also 6mm (1/4”) flexible sew in boning on the front panel seams. Of course, there is also a YouTube video tutorial to help you out every step along the way. Have fun sewing!

This is a digital PDF pattern is made up of 16 instruction pages that can be downloaded immediately after purchase. The pattern can be printed on either A4 or US Letter paper. Instruction on printing are contained inside. Print at 100% scaling. This pattern has a scale test to ensure you have printed your pattern correctly. No physical item will be sent. This pattern is written in English and contains measurements in both metric (centimetres) and imperial (inches).

DIFFICULTY
Beginner/Intermediate
This pattern requires careful sewing to install the boning, and to create the loops at the centre back. If you have a basic sewing experience this pattern will be achievable for you. Always remember to take your time and make a mock up in a cheaper fabric before you begin on the final project. This will allow you to make any alterations before you begin ensuring perfect fit.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
- 50cm (0.55 yards) main fabric 120cm (1.3 yards in width minimum) Cottons, silks and non/low stretch fabrics are suitable for this style.Allow a little if you would like to make your loops at ties at the back from the main fabric.
- 50cm (0.55 yards) lining fabric. 120cm (1.3 yards in width minimum) Pick something similar to your main fabric in a similar colour.
- 50cm (0.55 yards) medium weight fusible interfacing, 120cm (1.3 yards in width minimum) OPTIONAL. Add interfacing to your garment if your main fabric is lightweight.


OTHER TOOLS REQUIRED
- 2m (2.2 yards) of 6mm (1/4”) rigaline/sew-in flexible boning
- 3m (3.2 yards) of strong cord or trim suitable to create the centre back loops and ties.
- Matching sewing thread
- Hand sewing needle
- Loop turner (optional)
- Scissors
- Pins
- Sewing machine
- Safety Pin (Optional)
- Printer and A4 paper/US Letter paper to print your pattern
